Adios, las Vegas!

Well, our 2 day stay turned out to be a month, and our fridge is still not working right! Decided to head for the factory who says they will fix it instead of waiting for the repairman to return from his vacation next week, as he may not know how to fix, and probably would need to order parts...more waiting! Evidently, he did not level the part he put on with the top of the fridge, and it will not work when not level. So, Al is parking cock-eyed to make up for that and at least it is staying pretty cold. Freezer still works, so at least we hopefully won't lose our meat and sugar-free ice cream!!!!!

Currently, we left Jan's this noon, and are parking overnight at Casa Blanca RV Park in Mesquite. We are both ready for a night to relax, so are both on our computers.

Jan finished her exam, won't get results until Mid-October, but at least she is done studying for awhile, and she took an extra week in Seattle to visit family and friends, etc. Sure are proud of her, regardless of the outcome.

Our current plan is to head to the factory which is in Indiana. We will not drive long days, so probably will not get there for 10 days or so, and hope to see a few sights along the way. The Winnebago factory is also on the way, and we'd like to go there as well. I did not drive today, but need to get back in the saddle tomorrow so I don't forget all of what I learned in the RV course.

One of the benefits we received while here was getting to see our son Brent who was here on business. He and his partner (Chris) bought a house in Veg as for Chris to live in and work out of. Has a nice pool in the backyard, so Brent says he will need to come down for a sunshine break every 6 weeks or so :-)

It's been quite hot every day, although I think it was Saturday, we had 79 degrees and rain. Really felt good for a change! At this moment, it is 7:15 pm, and 108 degrees! Doesn't cool down much at night, so our blessed AC is getting a workout!

Not much news until we travel more, just wanted to check in and say we are still doing well and progressing towards our goal to see the rest of the US. Love to all,
Al & Sylvia
